Time to Sign with Children
Many children become
frustrated when they cannot communicate their
needs or wants. Even infants can understand
what you are saying and have needs they would
like to communicate back to you. You can help
if you teach them sign language.
Techniques for teaching sign language and how children play and learn are discussed. Various age-appropriate signs and handshapes including, the alphabet and numbers, commons signs, and advanced signs are described, illustrated, demonstrated, and detailed.
Time to Sign with Children earns CEU credit, and Washington students may request STARS credit.
